Hi Guys Been a while since I posted as since my last post where my IP refused to continue with my case, they decided to take it up again, so had been getting things sorted again. Had my creditors meeting, and except for asking for another £40 and apparently some heavy capping of my IP's charges, my ...

Hi Guys Been a while since I last posted, as I was under the impression we were making our way down the IVA road. Today I have found out this isnt the case. If I could just give you a quick summary... At the beginning of September last year, my wife and I took advice from Thomas Charles, regarding o...

Yes my wife only has the one credit card in her name. We were told that because her income etc would have to be counted towards the application for an IVA then her credit card should be included as well. I think I need to have a very long chat with Thomas Charles and find out exactly whats going on....

Hi all Well its been nearly 3 months since we took the plunge and made the first phone call to an IVA advice line. Just seems, after 3 months, two set up payments and a lot of expense in letters and phone calls, we are still no nearer getting things sorted out. The problem it seems is thus. My wife ...

Ok thank you. Well its a new one.. never been hassled for money via SMS before *sickly [:)]* Well after speaking to a lovely lady at Thomas Charles, a light may be emerging at the end of the tunnel, just awaiting the documents to come through from our conversation. Just received a text message from a Jane at CSL, saying that she must speak with me today, on 0208 763 4516. I rang back but it was engaged. Any ideas who this may be? I have given my mobile to a couple of IVA companies recently, but they surely would ring me rather than txt me asking me to ring bac...

Hi
Are the Alliance and Leicester linked with anyone, does anyone know?
They seem to be advertising a lot lately but I can't see them mentioned anywhere, either good or bad, as a possible bank to open an account with.
Many thanks

I have seen Debt Free Direct advertising like 100 times a day where I live, so have considered contacting them. Also I have been advised with regards to "bills" that utility companies, council tax, tv licence etc are all payments you should make. As you say you live with parents, it seems most of th...
