you can do a title charge at land registry online for £3 I think on your address, it will show who has charges over the property at the end of the report, it should have been removed but a good way to check.

Hi Michael, It would work if the banks didn't ask about any controlling share holders aswell as director i.e. they don't just want to know who the directors are buts also significant shareholders.
