They will most probably won't do anything until the six years is up.As long as the default date is correct it will drop off on the six year anniversary.TBH it really doesn't make any difference until the six year anniversary is reached

When I changed my car (old bangers aswell )I informed my iva company and also got a receipt for the purchase and sent that to them.To be honest they never questioned it

I would ring customer service and ask them what the letter is about.
When I had a debt go back on to my credit file I rang the bank,talked to a very nice customer service lady and within 3 days it was removed.

Regarding food you could tell them you are on basic rations,toiletries you can always say your using last month's still,if they ask just tell them you are just managing to make ends meet,but it's a struggle.

I rang to confirm if it was the last payment and was told to cancel DD they most probably wouldn't ring you,so be proactive and give them a call
