Thank you very much for your advice. Nothing is set in stone yet, it’s all just pie in the sky at present but you’ve certainly given me food for thought. Many thanks

Edit - just spoken to my partner about this and he said he may be able to get the 2k together to offer F&F, however, with my Iva being 6 years are they likely to accept this? The reason it’s 6 years is because my name is still on a mortgage with my ex partner, that I’ve had nothing to do with for 6 ...

Hi foggy, thanks for this. We have worked out that I will still be able to pay what I currently do, even with a sight increase we’d manage although things as I say would be tight. It’s a bit of a grey area because until we go ahead, I don’t know what the situation with my benefits is, ie whether I’l...

<t>Hi, I am almost 3 years into my Iva and have been managing as a single parent of two children. I’m a full time student in receipt of an bursary and tax credits etc so things are tight but I’ve been managing. However, I am now in a relationship and my partner and I are discussing him moving in aft...

Thank you for your help, I have emailed creditfix to request a conversation with my IP. To be honest, when looking at my income and expenditure, I can probably make cut backs here and there to be able to absorb the £80 extra, it will be really tight but I’d rather do that then extend my Iva even fur...

Thanks Foggy, it did seem to be a very standard general form they’d sent me. One size fits all etc. Because I travel around for my job (I’m a student midwife so travel between hospital, university and placement) and have two children, I cannot manage without a car. Because I don’t have any savings, ...

Hi, I am 2 years into my IVA with creditfix (originally through Knightsbridge) and have had no real problems so far. For the past 15 years, I have got a car via my aunt who works for Nissan on their staff least scheme. I get a brand new car every 12 months for a fixed fee which includes tax and insu...

Thanks, I’ve completed it which certainly wasn’t as quick and easy as they suggested...it came out that my disposable income was -£230 a month (it isn’t, I manage ok) so it’ll be interesting to see how this one unfolds...

Unfortunately I’ve had no luck in convincing creditfix in letting me do it the original way. I’ve been threatened with my Iva being at risk so I’m feeling worried enough to probably just do as I’m told. Any experiences of this method, My finances are pretty straight forward in that I’m a poor studen...

Thank you, foggy. I have emailed them back with words to that effect. I think it’s easy to feel like I have to be super nice to them and do what they say in case they put my payment up! but handing over my details just doesn’t sit right with me.

I appreciate this has probably been asked before. I am approaching my two year iva anniversary in January and have been pestered to allow creditfix access to my internet banking for the past couple of weeks. I was transferred from Knightsbridge. Last year, (I say last year but it was actually only i...
