We had this problem with a lot of our credit cards. You just have to keep at them Raise an issue with Equifax, Experian and Call Credit and point this out that the default date should be set to the month of the first default entry on the file and it should now be removed Keep battling them and you'l...

Hi all Our IVA has gone from the file this month (hurray) and the last few defaults go this week However, on looking at a credit score report, it says we are being damaged by a mortgage arrangement to pay AR on the file - this was in 2010, we went interest only for 9 months before selling the house ...

Hi I was just making a monthly check on my credit file just to make sure all ok (all debts and IVA are due to drop off between October and December) We did a full and final in 2007 and I worked hard to tidy up the file making sure all credit card debts were marked as partial settlements and the acco...

Just another question out of interest Over the past year and a half, we've had Vanquis and Capital one credit cards which we've used very carefully, paying off in full whenever used before any interest due. Do companies doing credit searches at a later date, take the brand of credit card into accoun...

Ah ok so it will be tied to approx the actual default date - eg 23rd October
Thanks I was just looking at the line that said reported until
The actual IVA itself is the 5th November .. so it will be quite appropriate to see it go up in smoke on that date

Hi all We did an IVA full and final at the end of 2007 (now couple37!) and we are getting very close to finally seeing all those defaults drop off the file along with the IVA certificate Just wondering - where a default says recorded until November 2013 for example, does that mean it's gone on the 1...

The money has finally just arrived, over 3 days later
I'm wary of using it again now but it's so vital to me as nearly all my clients pay via Paypal and bank withdrawals take too long.

Anyone else having problems?
I transferred £200 on Sunday after a client paid at last. Still not shown up on the card (usually by 2 next day)
Rung several times and harrassed sounding staff say there's nothing they can do it's a tech issue.
Really peed off as that was our week's food money.

Just an advisory for people really from our experience. We did a full and final one off payment IVA in December 2007 and got our discharge certificate in Jan 2008 Out of our 14 creditors, 10 of them marked the credit file as closed with partial settlement However, as I discovered last month, First D...
