i'm sure I will be back once i've calmed down .. flying on cloud 9 atm just want to get out of work and head home to see my wife and boy .. its been a rough few months for us and to just go home today and finally draw a line under it is going to be the best

again thank you .. this has installed a greater will to never gamble again .. or to lose the value of money again no more credit and to live to my means i will continue my counselling .. and tonight i can go home knowing i can provide for my family again to the best of my means ..

Thank you :) I think it will take a little while to sink in but for now i will just enjoy the relief :) for years the debt was getting worse .. then after 2 months of heavy losses my world was collapsing around me .. and a 2 month wait for the IVA meeting meant the stress was building but to breath ...

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! as you can guess good news ... over the moon and a fresh start in life :) never again will I head down the gambling route and with no need nor want... not everyone voted but the ones that did we're enough to see ...

just a question as sainsburys hadn't cast a vote by 10:55 this morning how long do they have to do so before they are no longer able to vote ? an hour / day etc

indeed.. and they're about 27% of the total vote so one other yes vote and i will be at 35% ish not sure exactly on the process from there but will know for sure today ... so want this to end one way or another now

got through... some votes received .. wont know the outcome till dinner time... on a positive note sainsburys haven't voted atm so that could be a yes from my biggest creditor and most of the others i have been a long standing customer paying on time everytime ... here's to another hour of sweaty pa...

oh that sounds promising .. if thats the case here then I have an hour to wait ... officially starts in 43 min

thanks Lisa , just tried to call them and no answer so had to leave contact details .. if sainsburys vote no then it's over as they have over 25% so hopefully they will call back shortly and i will get an idea:)

haha yeah it's been an hour.. taking each cig break as an hour down .. so 1 down 2-3 to go very nervous now.. and i "bet" they don't contact me within the hour of the meeting either and just keep me hanging.. tic toc

thanks peeps... we are about 3-4 hours away now ... sat at work trying to keep busy and the mind focused ... I've made it 2 months waiting so 4 hours should be a breeze in comparison

well its the night before , have such a sinking feeling about this with a tint of what if , what if they say yes .. though tbh to get a 12590 loan ans default before first payment screams a no vote .. 10:55 tomorrow is the meeting so hope to update with the news not much later

hi kim.m, Thats great news for you ) I'm now 55 days and will be 58 days clean by the time it is voted on so can prove that , I am also going to counselling of which i have had 2 sessions and 3rd booked in :) sending statements is fine with me too if that crops up :) not got any plans of going back ...

thanks for the heads up though tbh they A. accept and we go forward or B they reject and i go bankrupt .. I wont be hanging around for sure :) I dont own any assets so apart from the longer term impact of BR it would actually mean i pass less back but dont really want to do that .. find out a week t...
