I am in my 2nd year of my IVA and I have been with Carrington Dean however I had a phone called from creditfix to say that they were now taking over. They said nothing would change and everything would be the same but I’ve had a letter today confirming it and saying that there will be a meeting with...

Thanks everyone. I have no choice but to cancel the Vodafone contract and I fully expect them to send letters chasing etc. I have sent Vodafone a letter explaining my situation. I have read that sometimes they will take a lower settlement figure due to someone having an IVA but I guess I'll just hav...

Thank you for the reply, they haven't said about that but a payment break won't help as I can't afford to pay the bills for Vodafone anymore. My IVA is comming upto the annual review so I will fill in the new expenses etc. Me and my wife are due a little girl on 5th June so her pay will drop dramati...

Thank you for the replies. I have contacted my IVA company and explained the situation and they have said that because the debt has been incurred after my IVA was approved then there is nothing they can do to help at all! :(

Hello everyone, I have been in my IVA for nearly a year and have since had a problem with Vodafone. Due to a change in circumstance I have been unable to pay my bill and wont be able to afford it in the future. I have contacted Vodafone and explained the situation and asked if they would be able to ...

Thanks everyone. I've now cancelled with Tesco as I phoned them and they said that price was the best they could do. They didn't even mention the IVA. I've got until the 1st June to sort it so will be looking around. Hastings is certainly coming up the cheapest so I am hoping they will take monthly ...

Hello everyone, Sorry I was meaning to post on here. Yeah I emailed again this morning and asked whether there was any news to which I got a reply to say they tried to call me Friday to let me know my IVA was approved! I didn't have a missed call however I didn't really mind as I am so happy it was ...

Thanks. Is there any creditors that normally reject IVAS that you know of? My main ones are M&S and Santander and barclaycard. Thank you

Thanks everyone! I'll just have to wait and see.
From everyone's experience are many IVAS rejected or is there a reason some are rejected more than others?
Thanks

They certainly do. I have read that the majority of IVAS are accepted and very few fail. My total debt is £19000 over 11 creditors. I don't have any to do with a mortgage or anything as I don't own a house. They are made up loans, credit cards, store cards and catalogues (very stupidly)!

Thanks, I've checked and I am not on there which makes me worry more to be honest. They've said all along that they are very confident the IVA will be accepted but of corse they can't say for defiance which is understandable.

No I am in England and they were recommended to me. They've been great. Can't fault them. This is the only issue I've had with them. Just wish they would of phoned Friday when they said. Just want to know whether it's been approved or not. Guess I'll just have to wait.
