I got the same type of letters from Barclays (IVA completed 2016, but ignored the letters) and decided recently to complain to them..... they sent me 2 bottles of wine and a bunch of flowers and said I should not receive anything further from them (ie letters suggesting I owe them still) but if I di...

Hi, We had a similar problem back in 2016. We completed in Aug 16 but by Dec still had no CC. I posted on here back on 14th December - you may want to search my posts, and whilst your situation may differ from mine, it was what Michael Peoples responded with below that actually got it sorted. I used...

Any had much experience getting Barclays to update the credit agencies in a timely manner? Had a few conversations with them and don't feel reassured. PRA group and Sainsburys Bank haven't been perfect but alot more helpful. Tend to get 6-8 lead times and no promises or concrete reassurance. Hi, I ...

Foggy usually post a link and when he does, it gives info re credit files and there's a template letter. I originally addressed my letters to the address's payplan had on file, but now 6 years on it seems some of those address's were wrong. This time around, I googled the company, sometimes called f...

I must say, I went from someone not being bothered to someone clearly VERY bothered about her credit file!! all should have been looking fab last week....I'd cleared various things up (long ago or so I thought) got default dates corrected, except there still seemed a few creditors (ones that had deb...

Hi, Although this was back in 2016, we were with Payplan and started the F&F process beginning of April when my husband got made redundant. I was very well prepared for this (well hoping redundancy wouldn't happen but it'd been on the cards for months!) so all letters/documents were submitted v quic...

We started our IVA Sept 2012 and finished early with F&F Aug 2016 so am hoping it falls off next month! albeit it makes no odds to me as have long since been on a great fixed rate repayment (was interest only!) 10 year mortgage deal with my existing lender and have since bought a new car etc and hav...

Sorry Kallis, so busy with work these days (which is great!) I sometimes forget/ don’t get the chance to check the forum like I used to (I swear I lived on here 24/7 whilst we were in the IVA!!) But yes, extremely lucky as never expected to see a penny but boy we did alright with it all! Our actual ...

We were always lucky with PPI claims as Payplan always gave us the 8% stat interest that's awarded on PPI. Even after almost 2 years out of the IVA we've just been given 2 lots of Barclaycard stat 8% interest! (we had interlocking IVA's). And we had a lot of successful claims whilst the IVA was runn...

Hi Ediunia, so sorry to hear that news. Not heard of a rejection personally on here. Tesco Loan was one of our largest creditors, but we'd had the loan for some years by the time we went into the IVA. But we'd upped an upped the loan amount and term time to the max! Anyway, good luck going forward. ...

Absolutely Paul. It was husbands redundancy last year that lead to our F&F! Distressing times back then (he did NOT like his new job for the first few months!) but stuck with it, F&F accepted and a year on we're both earning more (and no sharing pay increases + tons of OT!!) and life is fantastic. A...
