FIrstly I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped, advised and supported over the last 6 years. Yes 6 years, we entered our F&F IVA on the 2nd June 2016 and today marks the end of that journey. As we move into the next phase of our financial life, I want to asked how I go about cleari...

HI All, I have a question please regarding taking up the post of a trustee, as I have been approached to do so. I entered a F&F IVA in June 2016, completed February 2017, I have read that being in an IVA or similar precludes you from being a trustee in a charity, however does it have any bearing tha...

Thanks for this, yes I understand the pressure on taking out finance again. So are you saying PCP in our circumstances, still less that 6 years, is possible or not though? Sorry I am not understanding.

Hello All, Long time no speak, I entered a F&F IVA in June 2016 and the completion was January 2017. We are clearly still impacted by this however over the last few years we have passed some credit sweeps for a small loan and swapping phone providers. My question is both of us are looking at new car...

I find this so weird to read this and others about Aperture. They handled my F&F IVA in 2016 and everything was so well handled, I owe them so much for getting some things through our IVA agreement that perhaps should never have happened. They were always available, helpful and everything was handle...

Hello everyone, We completed our IVA last year however a friend of ours is in one currently and was picking my brains about something that I just wasn't sure about so I thought I would ask you guys. I did suggest they join up however they are not very computer savvy. I would also note that I am a li...

Ok thanks for the replies and to update you. The shop went through a full insolvency, my wife ceased to be a director of the company in March 2016. We agreed a full and final IVA in June 2016 and we received our CoC in February 2017. The insolvency and winding up of the shop was confirmed in the sum...

Hi All, Completed a F&F IVA in February, we entered the IVA mainly due to a collapse of a business my wife opened 5 years ago. The business was wound up and this completed during the summer. Today we have received a letter from a debt collection agency working for EE seeking settlement of the busine...

Thanks Foggy, That is really interesting actually, before I posted this I had been "100% Pre-Approved" with Vanquis and I did nothing with it. A few days later after this I went back in and this time it said I was "very likely" to be approved so I went for it only to be declined so there must be som...

Interesting update, having looked through my options the only companies that are suggesting I would be approved for a credit builder card are companies that are subsidiaries of Capital One. Capital One were one of my creditors when I entered the IVA. I feel super suspicious about pressing the button...

Thank you for this.
I would also be interested in Ryan's view point with a mortgage application next February. Would have a few months of good management of a credit card be an assistance or a bad thing?
Thanks again
Reeves
