Thanks Foggy. I just checked and the restriction is still on my property. PayPlan are going to look into it and come back to me.

Thanks Ryan. I feel awful having to confess it but I guess you're right, I am not alone.

I still feel so ashamed about the IVA which is the only reason I didn't declare it to the broker. If asked I would of course have been honest.

Hello, I have a couple of questions please. The IVA no longer appears on my credit files and I've been building up my credit rating this past year. I have approached a mortgage broker to get a new deal. Firstly, how do I check if the restriction has been removed from my property? Does it cost much? ...

Have come home to a letter from Stansfield Moore asking me to call them, it's claiming they have important confidential information for me. I've googled the firm, seems they can be about inheritance (I'm not aware of any) but also have contacted people with completed ivas. Just wondered if anyone el...

Can completely agree about the bankruptcy clause. Even though I said I didn't want bankruptcy to be an option if the F&F was rejected, it was still mentioned in the paperwork I had to sign for the variation meeting. I rang my IP straight away and they removed it from the proposal documents. As other...

Thanks Linrog, it has been a long road but I made it!

Benjiboo, my Iva was completed in the sixth year with a F&F so my last payment was a little different to yours. I would say call your IP to check that this is your last payment. They can advise what happens next.

Thanks I will confirm with my IP to make sure. My letter says "all relevant parties including creditors will be issued a copy or my completion details" but it certainly doesn't hurt for me to check with them! Surprisingly the letter also said "it is not our responsibility to notify credit reference ...

I would have thought the iva would have dropped off by now too, usually around the six year anniversary. You could try contacting the credit agencies and ask them to update you file.
