I know what you mean, I get about 4-5 calls a day from MBNA.Even when I decide to answer it they never seem to understand. Their problem is that they pass on the debt to a company called GVI who don't seem to comunicate anything back to MBNA and also MBNA don't talk to GVI so it's a vicious circle. ...

I have yet to have my IVA accepted but in anticipation I have cut up all my cards so am getting used to having no money in the hope that it will be accepted.I agree that it must be difficult and 5 years will probably seem like an eternity,but the end is now in sight for you.

My IP is suggesting that by showing that his costs have been met then all of my payments will go to my creditors therefore increasing the chances of the IVA being accepted, posuns, that sounds really steep.....if i were you i would shop around. My IP is suggesting that an up front payment would assist in my IVA being accepted.He says the £3000 will cover all of his firms costs,setting up the IVA etc.Is this normal practice??My concern is that I will lose the money should the IVA be rejected.Can anyone give me some advice??
