it might be me being thick but i couldnt find anywhere, were it states if you can goto London and open an account if you live in Liverpool?

Skippy I really like that idea too, its always puzzled me why, when banks issue or used to issue visa electron cards they couldnt print them on site too

it states on the metro bank website that "Electronic payments can be made into your Cash Account, however, they cannot be made from your Cash Account. "
So to me that means that you cant authorise direct debits, standing orders etc and therefore its more of a prepaid card account than a bank account.

Ok have you considered a prepaid card that allows standing orders that also has low fees such as Clearcash or CredECard-contis solutions

Hi
by standing order bank transfer, the majority will give you there banking details and it puts you in control. I wouldnt recommend direct debit as it puts them in control

try Yorkshire BS Cash transactor comes with a cashcard and the usual banking features i.e direct debits etc or their internet saver which is also cash card based

Hi Secure trust do offer faster payments in and out but it takes I think four hours instead of two hours to transfer from them and the reach the other account

try not to worry, i know that sounds easier said than done, face the disciplinary head on and dont let the worries of the iva overcome you and make you make hasty decisions, try to discuss in your disciplinary your reasons for what you did, the remorse you feel and ask if relocation and/or demotion ...

personaly i would stay clear of them with their three strikes system, there agents not knowing what is going in and out of your account and the internet banking service not updating it self for days allowing you to move money out of your account when you have used your card.
