Hubbys last payment is December and mine January so just slightly longer for me. Not quite sure about oo...

We are in our extra year too because of not being able to remortgage, and as a public section worker my pension has increased (for the second time) and also my work assisted move allowance has decreased. libertyfund I've been with the Civil Service for the last 10 years and it is my T&C's to inform HR if I am in one. It is probably best to check in your contract or do an anonymous call to the HR dept to find out

I'm in the civil service and have advised my HR department about my IVA and they have no problem with it at all. I also know of a colleague who went bankrupt whilst working with us and that wasn't a problem either. It may depend on which branch of the civil service you want to work with as many seem...

I had problems with my car insurance this year, so stuck with Swinton - although did go to them as a new customer through the internet as the deal was better than the one they were offering me. THis is the first time of having problems as well so it was a bit of a shock!

Hi, my contract says I have to disclose if I am bankrupt or finacially insolvent (I think thats the right wording from memory), I work for the civil service, the only monetary responsibility I have is my budget and a work credit card. I told our HR department and they said they don't have a problem ...

Thanks all, I can't believe the first 60 months has gone so quickly. I still remember making the phone call, and every year I get worried at review time. Still we are here, still together, another little girl along the process and looking forward to the time when we will be able to get them bits wit...

we are finally on our last 12 months of our IVA, due to the extra 12 months being added (remortgaging clause). It has been a struggle a lot of the time, but a lot to do with me not doing the allowances right at the beginning (only allowing petrol for work, and not anything else!) and also our daught...

I'm positive one never got run on me otherwise I wouldn't still have the card - I did worry once when the card kept getting rejected but apparently it was a company problem and not me! Not sure if the bank have to ask you or not or about the obligation to.

Good luck, I'm sure it will all be fine

Hi Trixie, I have a company credit card and have had for the duration - I told my HR department (because I had to) and they are fine with me having it. It has my name on it and I spend on it regularly and have no problem - you should be fine Andrea 57 months completed, only 3 months plus the extra y...

DFD have allowed us to pay my husbands weekly and mine twice a month - despite me being paid monthly. Purely because all our outgoings were bunched together at the beginning of the month and we had no money to buy food and petrol at the beginning of the month.

You can only ask

just an update, have finally got an answer from DFD - just slightly longer than 21 days! (23 May - 1 Aug!!) As we thought we are unable to release any equity, so our case is now being passed to the Repayments Plan Team to see if we can have the 12 month extension. Just hope they don't take 3 months ...
