I Too am in this mess because of online gambling, lost a fortune over 5 years. I think the pushing of these sites on the Internet should be banned and regulated. I have been in IVA since last November and have been approached by a company who got my number from the insolvency register. They are saying they can reduce my IVA payments. Has anyone else been approached, what can they do and is it legal? Thanks all![:I]

Thanks. Since my IVA was accepted I have have received nothing from Varden Nuttall. Should I have any kind of contracts or confirmation sent. I had a phone call saying my IVA had been accepted by 0.1% but no other contact. Just feel I might be missing something?

Will it be possible to get a mortgage. I have just started my IVA and pay £850 a month rent so would be able to get a mortgage for less but would any lender take me on. i earn £45k a year as I have just got a really good job.
