My husband and I are in our 6th year of iva as we had equity in our house my question is if we had an inheritance during the 6th year does it go towards the iva?

Hi I am in an iva and just about to do my review for my 6th year My debt was 36,000 and so far I have paid over 45,000 into my iva why am I having to do an extra year? I've paid back so much already
