Surely a now Government backed organistation will not reject Government legislated policy in the form of IVA's? Can those whom have had their IVA's rejected solely based on Northern Rock's refusal, now reapply with some degree of confidence?

I received lots of call, at home, at work, via my mobile - creditors were in general appeased if you could provide an IVA meeting date, the name of the company dealing with your case, contact name and case reference. Apart from the odd one or two the calls stopped or were postponed for several days....

In fairness, the reduction was only made following a discussion with my accountant whom had stated that my income was exaggerated, so I can't be sure this was a purposeful tactic employed by CS, and I agree, this would only serve to increase the mistrust between IVA firms and creditors. The increase appears high, but what needs to be made clear is the proposal was in fact over £400 less than the original drafted proposal figure, not only to make it more affordable, but to leave scope for any anticipated increase.
