They are fine until until you complete getting nowhere fast. Iva with competitions team but they do not return calls or emails and not sure what to do. My guess is they are hopelessly understaffed and cannot keep up to date with their workload. Total shambles, I completed last June and have also pai...

Hi Mel, I have actually written to them seeking clarification but in all honestly I just want to put the IVA behind and carry on with my life and we have made them an offer to keep most of the PPI payment (£4600) as we want to have our completion certificate before the year is out. one other interes...

Hi foggy I accept what you say but this PPI claim dates back to the early 1990's long before we encountered debt problems. Had we of received our completion certificate one month after the IVA finished the money would be ours anyway. Grant Thornton did not start pursuing PPI claims until after we ha...

I started this post and have asked Grant Thornton to supply legal evidence to support their actions, I have no documents supporting their claim that they can receive monies between me making the final payment and the day I receive my completion certificate their opinion and those in a court of arbit...

the monies paid out are not from a creditor and was PPI and setting up fee for a loan in the early 1980's. the majority of our debts were sold to Max Recovery but none of these debts are involved in PPI claims which is something I find strange

I have searched through my contract and terms and conditions there is nothing which states my IVA is not completed until I receive my completition certificate but it does state my IVA is comple...

why do the IVA companies not ask us clients if we have been mis-sold or had any PPI's.As this would save a lot of time, unecessary paperwork and need to contact companies like Claims Brokers (acting for Grant Thornton) I have not had any PPI's or mis-sold insurances therefore I see no point in them c...

what I cannot understand Melanie is why I was not asked about PPI claims until now people having been claiming for a few years now. Also it would seem logical to ask if I was mis-sold any PPI's rather than get another company to act on Grant Thornton's behalf and I assume investigate if I was sold a...
