Hi I’m writing this on behalf on my partner. Her mum has offered to get a loan to pay off the remaining balance of her IVA . Is her other allowed to do this ? Could she wait for the result of the meeting then get the loan or do the funds need to be sat in the bank waiting?

My landlord has already said he will write me glowing references as I made Him aware of our situation a few years back when all this was happening and we never missed a payment during it. So maybe that would be enough to sneak us through the door so to speak ?

I would suggest a word with Ryan and / or Shaun, but would think a guarantor mortgage would be prohibitively expensive. There is also the question of your partner's A) Ability to join the mortgage due to her IVA (taking on fresh credit) and B) Possible ramifications regarding her need to release eq...

Hey all, I’m not longer in IVA and I’ve had completition certificate but I still have 3 years left before the data drops off my file. I have been accepted for a card which I intend to use 20/30 a month and pay it in full. My question is is this really worth it Now or wait until everything drops off ?
