I had a F+F IVA which completed in October 2018, I've noticed looking on my Noddle credit report that I still have various lenders showing late payment or default on there, whilst many others have moved to being closed and showing satisfied / settled. Should I be contacting those that still show def...

I’ve had my lump sum Iva accepted , going through stepchange . Here are my voting results : Total debt £53,322 with a lump sum offer of £6000 , pence in £ return of around 9.56. I had 13 creditors , 10 voted , the 3 that didn’t were Zopa, Sunny and Close brothers. 9 out of 10 voters were accepted of...

I’ve just had my lump sum IVA accepted , one of my creditors was PayPal credit , does anyone know whether for future use I’ll need to set up another Paypal account to use PayPal as normal ? Or will the credit part just be closed and still allow normal use ?

Thanks all ! So when my agreed breathing space runs out , should I call up all creditors again and try and extend or should I just pass them onto IP as they contact me and ask them to deal with IP? I have stopped payments by the way which has been a real relief in the last few weeks! But so far have...

My IVA is currently at the drafting stage , and has been for around a week now , I’m trying to arrange a lump sum offer and using stepchange. I’m wondering if anyone who has done similar could advise how long it would be until an IP begins to contact my creditors ? Stepchange have said that drafting...

Interesting , the advisor I’ve spoken to so far was quite confident in the monthly Iva working , based upon my wife’s income supporting all the bills etc .
Debt is around 50k and I have no assets , waiting on a call back to organise a lump sum being put forward instead now .

Great thanks , that what I thought would happen if I spoke to advisor about this , that they would just say offer the lot! I’m basically at the point where I’ve just sent all my documentation off to the advisor to look at after having an initial appointment so I’ll call them up and ask to proceed wi...

I’m in the process of applying for an Iva through stepchange , we’ve gone over my income and expenditure and I’m looking at around £89 per month . This equates to a fairly low 7p / £ but was told this still can work and the low amount is down to the fact I’m out of work for health reasons and income...

Thanks for replies , bit of a mixed bag! As it happens it’s likely that I won’t have money available for some of the direct debits so having spoke with stepchange will hold paying anyone just in case it looks like I’m favouring anyone and I can hopefully put a little aside .

I’m in the very early stages of trying to begin an IVA, I have an appointment with stepchange on Wednesday to discuss the first steps . But when should I stop paying creditors ? I’ve not missed payment before and not sure if it’s too early as I haven’t spoke to an IP yet however most of my payments ...
