My IVA has been accepted with a few minor modifications! [:)] They wanted a higher monthly contribution but my brilliant IP got them to accept the original offer! So there's an end of IVA party at my place in 5 years time! Unless I've moved to Oz by then, in which case it'll be a bbq on the beach! [...

Thanks Carl, I'll check my proposal, this particular one pays expenses plus a certain amount per day for the duration of the trial. Not sure if they all do though...

Hi, i am considering taking part in a voluntary medical trial, where i would be paid for my time. The money from this would be useful for a contingency fund if/when something unexpected occurs. How much of this money would have to be paid into the iva? thanks in advance for any help...[:)]

Hi, i currently rent a place on my own. If i were to move into my girlfriends house (which she owns with a mortgage) and pay her rent would she have to pay anything into my iva and would it affect her property or her status in any way. thanks in advance for any help [:)]

Hi all. I had a policy with axa sun life which i have just cashed in, haven't entered into the iva yet, will any of this money have to go into the iva? Also what am I allowed/not allowed in a bank account? Can I have a debit card? Can I set up direct debits/standing orders? Any help much appreciated.

If I were to sell my car (worth around £3000 in a private sale) during the IVA and get a cheaper one (for around £1000), how much of the money made from the sale would have to go into the IVA?
