Basically there is little you can do, credit-wise, until the defaults and the IVA itself drop off of your credit files, which, in your case, will be in 2023.
In addition to changing the default dates, I the status changes from defaulted to settled would that help?

I finished my IVA September 2018 after taking it out September 2017(F&F). Some defaults are still listed for after the completion date which I’m going to write to and change the dates. I wanted to switch to nationwide for the £200 reader a friend scheme. I don’t want an overdraft but because the rel...

My worries come from already having deed polled already so I don’t have a decree absolute to show I’m reverting back to my Maiden name (just a repulsive ex partner which is another story). Anyhow, my current name is used for all bills etc so it’s a bit of a nightmare

I was wondering if anyone could help. I have three names (maiden name, married name (now divorced), another name and now need to go back to my maiden name. It’s £42 approximately to return back to my maiden name by deed poll which after my IVA being completed, is money I’m scared to spend on. Has an...

Sorry if this is being posted on the wrong section. So my IVA was F&F September 2018 having been taken out October 2017. I know it takes 6 years to clear off my credit report from that date. My questions are 1. After the 6 years is up, will I still be penalised? For example, would I be eligible to b...

Yes I’ve come off the IR which felt amazing.
I used clear score at the moment because it’s the only one I have used with doesn’t seem to sign me up to x amount per month after a 30 day trial but I don’t believe it shows me default dates, unless I’m mistaken.

I’m 4 months post F&F (IVA started October 2017) so I’m a long way off having a good score but I’m trying to take active steps to organise my life and credit score. On Clear Score, it says a negative is that I’m not registered in the electoral roll where I live, but I had confirmation that I am toda...

I’m a single mum to three so my only hope of entering the property ladder is shared ownership.
I entered an IVA in October 2017 and F&F in September 2018. So is it 6 years from the start or end of my IVA that my credit score is wiped clear?

I find with Credit Fix, if you email the closures department directly, you get a response. I have an email for a member of their team and contact them. I get a response, although it’s still like getting blood from a stone in terms of answers to things.

I have x amount of debts listed on my chairman’s report. I did a F&F settlement a couple of months ago and I’ve just noticed that a few debts aren’t listed on the completion certificate. HMRC is one and they are now chasing for an attachment of earnings of which I can’t prove through my completion c...
