The credit agencies have all updated their records and our ratings have gone through the roof to 999, 5/5 et...

Brilliant! You will probably remain on the Insolvency register for 3 months. Depending upon when you started and I can't remember - it will remain on your credit files for six years. The 6yrs was gone in february....hence our frustration at the delays. I have copies to send to all the agencies (I’m...

So....just to give an update This morning the completion certificate finally arrived! Couldn’t be happier. It did take an extra few weeks of chasing but it’s here and for now that’s all that matters. I shall be going to the bank and registering it to change our account and contacting the credit agen...

Generally the reports you get from online services are 1 or 2 months behind real time. The subscription services are a waste of money. To ensure the content of the credit file is correct you need a copy of the statutory report (the one the creditors see in real time) at a couple of quid a pop. Have...

As Kallis says -- once the completion certificate is issued you will remain on the Insolvency Register for a further 3 months. But you will be able to tell it has arrived with them as the arrangement will then show as completed. Thank you-it’s useful to know how it all works. I have checked and tha...

So the update as of today.... Danny from Freeman jones called-as promised following the intervention on this thread by Ian Williams. He was brilliant. Apologised and was honest saying they have a heavy backlog since the transition. He assured me he had our file personally and our certificate would b...

Thanks for be help, I’ve emailed the FJ representative today so hopefully we may get some clarity and even a certificate shortly.....everything crossed for an end point so the next chapter can begin and this can all be a distant memory and a lesson learnt. I know his post is a little old now but thought I might look for some advice. My husband and I made our last pavement on 6th April. We were with Harrington Brooks from Feb ‘12 but obviously as we completed Freeman jones took them over. We have sent a few emails and made a few calls to find out when ...
