Hi, Back in May, I was made redundant and received a standard redundancy package. I am just over a year into my IVA and was in the process of carrying out my first yearly review. Because of my job loss, this was put on hold until I found work again. I am now back in work, and have approx £1,500 left...

thank you for the advice both.
Melanie, would you mind explaining what the £500 limit is all about. And should I really have declared the zero balance card when I set up my IVA?
Many thanks

Hi all, I've had my IVA since the beginning of the year and things are going pretty well. There are sometimes occasions when things are really tight, but generally I'm a lot happier than I was before. My question is that I may need to travel overseas for my work. sorry, just remembered I never posted the results of the creditors meeting:
Capital One: no
MBNA: yes
Tesco: yes
Lloyds TSB: yes
Sainsburys Bank@ yes
This worked out at about 81%.
Feeling much more positive now, but struggling a little bit for a couple of weeks, as I had to fork out for car tax.

thanks for the speedy response Melanie.
I guess I'm used to finding something to worry about before I had an IVA, but feel so much better now it's all agreed.

Lloyds TSB still applying charges to my account I see this morning.
I guess I don't need to worry about this and just need to wait for them to realise I'm in an IVA? Even though the meeting was on Friday?

thanks again both. just one question, today, the day of my creditors meeting, my bank -one of my creditors- has paid another direct debit which has taken my account even more over my agreed limit. Should I have cancelled all Direct Debits or is it the bank's fault for paying out even though they sho...
