Oops!!
Sorry Jan, I hadn't realised you owed money on the Co-Op Credit Card. In that case, it has to be Barclays Cash Card Account. Same thing applies - don't accept no for an answer!!

My advice Jan is to apply to Co-Op for a Cashminder Account (not a Current Account) and if they decline your application, follow the same pattern as I did for my son. I had arranged a Tuxedo Card for my son as well, which has got by with for the past couple of months, but of course there is no facil...

My son petitioned his own Bankrupty in February, 2008. I had wanted to take him to the local Co-Op Bank branch to arrange a Cashminder Account, as soon as the bankruptcy went through. However he waited four months and then telephoned them to arrange an Account. They wrote saying his Application had ...

Were you one of the 160,000 who received the now infamous letter from Egg this morning? I was and can confirm that with all my problems, and as they received their payments by Direct Debit, I caused them no problems whatsoever. Other than the fact I didn't use the Card as often as Credit Card Compan...

Thanks for your advice Melanie. I will now be sitting down tomorrow evening and putting together a list of the Creditors and the amounts involved. Although I can obtain the amounts owing to the Credit Card companies from the "net" I will have to contact the Lenders in respect of the Personal Loans a...

I assume she uses a portion of it to pay the mortgage and utility bills - I just haven't asked any questions. There have been times, such as when I was ill with depression abo...

I have amassed debts of approximately £42,000. This is a mixture of three Loans and about 7 Credit Cards. Until two years ago, I had two Loans, one a consolidation loan of about £15,000 and a further loan of £5,900 for a nearly new car and £2,000 on a Credit Card. Although I was repaying about £350 ...
