Thanks everyone. Its a struggle and was a long 64 months but when you get there its worth all the hard work to know you are totally debt free. The last year seemed to fly by!!

At last we can say we will be debt free this year. We have paid over £49,000 into our IVA with approx £6,500 left to pay. If you use it to pay 6 months rent upfront, does that mean you do not have to pay any more rent until 6 months are up?

We were allowed to keep our bank account and visa debit card as we had no debt with our bank.

If a couple split up during an interlocking / joint IVA, what happens to the joint debts, are they split or does the full amount get added to both IVA's. [?]

We also get them at work, I think they are just random as our work number is ex-directory.
