Hi there,
Can I ask another question. Is the undertaking confirmation from the solicitor normally enough for the mortgage lender to be happy to release funds so the Iva can then be paid simultaneously as part for the transaction?
Just a bit worried
Thanks

Congratulations ! Usually these things are dealt with by an 'undertaking' between the professionals involved ---- an undertaking is a binding promise that funds would be retained from the sale and transferred to the IP. In return the IP undertakes to use the funds to close the IVA. Thank you - the ...

As part of the mortgage conditions the IVA will be paid from equity as part of the sale transaction. The condition rea...

Brilliant - many thanks for the reply. I will give the IP a call tomorrow. Fortunately I am with McCambridge Duffy and they are very nice to deal with.

I forgot to add. If I can’t accept the new job I will have to stay where I am and then the IVA would have to run it’s course. Due to lenders insisting on the 30% minimum deposit as I can’t go to the high street for a mortgage. So the creditors won’t really loose out, they’ll merely get all of their ...

Thanks Foggy.
Have you had any experience in the past with Sprout. For example good bad to deal with. Hit rates of getting ff settlements accepted etc.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I am thinking of moving house and I’m looking at selling and buying cheaper elsewhere with a view of then releasing some money as a full and final settlement. Has anyone done this or has any knowledge of it? I have 29 months left of £350 and was going to offer 8-10k. Is this enough? The ot...

Thank you.
My wife’s car has always been within my I&E and completely agree about having my expenses for the work car being excluded for it as that is the idea of the allowance. That would be fair enough really.
Thanks for taking the time to reply Happy New Year.

I am using our family car and my wife has been given my dads old car (retired from driving). My wife doesn’t work and due to me travelling some 35-40k per annum we need two cars. Plus I’m...
