Hi - a friend of mine has spoken to me asking if an IVA would be best for them as they know I finished mine lat year and are in a mess financially. Thanks Lesley, it just doesn't seen right that I should still be being penalised. I kind of feel what's the point in entering into an IVA if creditors can apply CCJs 18 months after the start and then no one is there to help get this corrected.

Is there a way of knowing which banks use which credit ref agencies for their credit scoring process, I want to upgrade my account type with Nationwide and can see Experisn have updated their records since I completed my IVA but not Equifax and CallCredit yet?

I've contacted the IR and initially they have saiid it takes 3 months to be removed, I've challenged this as I've seen other posts on here suggesting it was removed soon after CC arrived?? Any ideas??? It just seems to be a never ending saga!!!

Helpless , just a word of warning to help manage your expectations. My last payment was in April and it was finally closed on 26th of October. GT say it takes 6 months for them to close everything down to a state where your contributions are distributed to creditors. I hope you get yours much sooner!

I'm pleased to say having got home from work today the completion certificate from Grant Thornton has arrived!!! It's finally all over!! Have they told you it has been closed with a date? They have told me mine was closed on the 26th of October and I would get all the paperwork within 10 working days! And still nothing. They are a joke and I would suggest anyone entering an IVA with them think very carefully as the 5 or 6 years turns...
