Thank you for your quick reply, he was asked when he signed the agreement if he wanted payment protection and GAP insurance, he said yes to both but they say he only agreed to GAP insurance. From experieance as i am with Kingsgate (sister company of Churchwood financial) i would definatly try and get out. I had to pay over £300 up front fee's and whenever you call they refuse to put you through to your IP and say they will leave messages...and in 9 months of ringing all the time i have ...

Thanks for the replies guys, i currenlty pay £210 per month at 35p/£ Original debt was approx £24000 i have only paid 8 payments so far due to missing Decembers...its difficult to speak to your IP, i speak to someone different everytime but i guess it has to be done. £175 was Reeds Rain estate agent...

I received an extra £40 in my pay pack each month, but my rent went up £100 so they said i do not have to pay anymore into my IVA, but i still Have to use contingencies and some food allowence to cover my rent, my wage will go up again soon so hopefully that will balance everything out [:)]

Thank you for your replies, i completly forgot about the register, we found him [:)] now she can pass his details on to CSA and hopefully get some money for his children. Dont know how this works since he is bankrupt but surely they can get something, at least thats one thing that has made her smile...
