I think regulators are looking at things like redress (probably along similar lines to the FCA) but they're taking their time.
The better firms will already have a good complaints investigation procedure and will pay redress where appropriate.

Hello. The refund should still go to the credit card and they won't(or shouldn't) release the funds without your supervisor telling them where to send it.
You should ask your supervisor if you can keep the money, there's quite a bit of variation in how this is being treated at the moment.

HMRC are not against IVAs in principle, but they won't put up with them where they're not happy. So, your returns must be up to date and you mustn't have done something that they don't like, eg, lied to them, told them you'd do or pay something and then not done so etc. As Foggy rightly says, a smal...

I don't think you would with those figures. The larger IVA firms wouldn't do it because they know creditors wouldn't accept it because, as Foggy has said, you don't need one.

It's usually acceptable to have a 'partners allowance' that is the same proportion of the joint disposable income, that the partner has of all the income.
So, if you bring in 2/3 of the income it would be reasonable for your partner to have an allowance of 1/3 of the overall disposable income.

That's not great! First thing to do is email your insolvency practitioner (known as an IP) and ask for a copy of any documents you've (allegedly) signed. If you don't know who your IP is, do a Google search for 'insolvency register' and search your name. This will give you the details of where your ...

Tell them about it, but make it clear that it isn't extra income. It's the income your contributions were based on, when this reduced you maintained those contributions, ie, if you'd had this income all the time, your contributions would still have been the same.

Wow, quite a few issues there. Firstly, you signed your paperwork, why didn't you tell them to correct your name? No matter, if you tell them now they should correct it (although some people might say that they'd prefer to have their name spelt wrong in all the records). Creditors might not know abo...

Point C would include an IVA. If you were a director, then entered into an IVA, you post as director would end. However, it's easily remedied by a vote of shareholders and can even be done retrospectively. None of this is relevant to you now though, your IVA completed nearly 8 years ago and has noth...
