Also, because my partner is self employed is it more advisable to get professional hel...

Hi thanks for your advice, its just that I don't want the new Landlord to know about the bankruptcy as he was very weary about us renting because my partner is self employed so we had to get a guarantor in order for us to get the property in the first place. I think perhaps we'd be better to do it j...

We have already got 2 months behind in our mortgage so they will be statrting repos...

Well our house is on the market, very little hope of selling it atm and i've lost heart in it as I know when we go bankrupt we will lose it anyway, so maybe i should take it off the market. The neighbours have stopped talking to us because they are worried they will get bad neighbours when we leave?...

I really feel strongly that the "Powers that Be" who stipulate these figures for essential things like food should try and feed a family on the amounts they say we need to have to cope with! Having got a 13 yr old son whoeats as much as his dad, i feel i'm actully feeding 3 adults not 2 and a child!...

My partner's mobile died and hes still on contract so i brought him a CHEAP PAYG phone to put his sim card in and told him it was an early father's day present, he was well chuffed! i dont like Big Brother either i'm afraid but I think that when you go Bankrupt or enter into an IVA the IP or the OR are like BIG Brother in the sense that we have to tell them everything to do with our financial lives before and after the situation LOL

Hi Chris, I understand what you mean - to go private rented with even a bad credit rating before BR we'd need either 6 months rent in advance or a guarantor so during a BR order would be virually impossible! To rent a 2 bedroomed house around here would be at least £500 per month so that £3,000 plus...
