Hi guys I made a full and final settlement on my IVA a year ago, one year after it started. Since then I've decided to change jobs and went for an interview at an investment bank. They financial check you for the previous 5 years and asked if I had any CCJs or bankruptcy they should know about. I do...

Hi guys I'm getting nervous. I have my full and final creditors' meeting on Thursday at 10.15 but I have just checked with BE and none of them have voted yet. I'm starting to worry it's a bad sign. I've offered £16,000. I owed £17,000 and have already paid £4500 into it. I did have a 4th year equity...

Me too - I am just terrified he is going to check it. Though goodness knows why it would occur to anyone to check on a new partner if they aren't in the situation themselves. I'm sure I'm just being paranoid!!! 17 days until my creditors meeting !

Hi I'm sure this must have been asked before but I can't easily spot it anywhere. I have just offered a full and final and, fingers crossed all being well, it will all be over on 19th March, a year after I started my IVA. Now I know that it takes 6 years to be off your credit references but does it ...

Thank you !! One question though - if my F&F is accepted on the 19th, BE say that I have 3 months to pay the money. This is great as my parents will be able to hand a cheque over on 1st May. So, my question is, do I pay the 1st April and 1st May IVA payment or, once it's accepted, stop paying. This ...

I now have a date - woo hoo. It's 19 March at 10.15am. Apparently I am now offering 26p whereas it was 22p before so fingers crossed. I'll let you all know how it goes. Can't believe I could be debt free for the first time in 15 years in a month's time.

I have spoken to someone now. I just need to get my parents' to write a letter to say that they are willing to give me the money and then they can put a proposal together. The guy said it looks quite good. I was originally paying back £17,000 from a £50k debt, I have paid £4750 already and I'm offer...

I have just spoken to them and apparently someone else needs to call me back for a consultation (even though it was all in the letter I sent and the conversation I had with them when verbally putting forward my F+F) when they get round to it !!! 10 days down and no nearer to a variation meeting !! I...
