its just so hard knowing what to do to be right.. total minefield all this... but iv found this site really helpful in last 4 weeks, even though i haven't posted much. Its' hard to accept that things have got to this stage.

CHEERS! im having a very BIG glass of red wine right now..... IVA declined today, but Grant Thornton managed an adjornment for 2 weeks....

However, trying very hard not to dwell on it and just enjoy my lovely vino!

we decided to sell house, and rent, to try and free up a bit more money towards iva, we have approx 42k debt and proposed £250 per month over 6 yrs, which was not acceptable. thanks for comment. we are already on an interest only mortgage, and have minimal equity, due to house prices plummeting in northern ireland, only bought house a year ago and already price has dropped by approx 10-15k. Our iva provider had included in the proposal that we would do a 6 yr agreement, ...

our iva was declined by our creditors.... due to our mortgage payments being too high £1050/mth, they said we could rent for less, which is true. We put our house on the market, at the start of the iva process, however due to current housing market, not one offer yet. We are prepared to rent Our iva...

ip is grant thorton in belfast,, we are just sending her all the information, statements etc regards our creditors, we were going to ask her for advice on bank when she receives them, but trying to get things sorted out as quickly as possible. questions always come into my head when im at home at ni...

anyone any ideas on a bank account in northern ireland, we are just starting iva process and want bank account set up as soon as possible. we are thinking of opening Bank of Ireland account? but dont know whether they have any connections with our creditors.

they haven't suggested it.... we thought that it would be best to try and reduce our monthly commitments, though obviously would rather stay in our current home.... we have just started process with Grant Thornton in Belfast. Very helpful so far.

we are currently starting process of iva, we are in process of trying to sell our home, we pay 1050 per month mortgage. if we obtain a rental at 600 do we have to pay more on our iva? or do payments stay as they are?
