Promotional rates with MBNA and Barclaycard.

In fact MBNA basically gave me 0% for 2 years on balance transfers/cash purchases and money transfers to my bank account. (with a nice credit limit of £2600)

Hi,

Barclaycard/Capital One and MBNA were all in my IVA and all accepted me for accounts less than 2 years after IVA completion.

Hi, the default/satisfied part doesnt really matter much to be honest as long as the default date is correctly marked as the IVA commencement date. It will drop off anyway whether is default or satisfied. The IVA will drop off 6 years from the commencement date, so the fact you paid another 6 months...

Good work! :)

Everyday closeer to the end gets better. :)

I can't believe how fast time has gone, i've not been on here for AGES and now some of you are MUCH nearer the end than i remember you being (lesley).

It's awesome to see people well on their way to achieving their IVA goal.

The best thing to do is contact you IVA provider as soon as you know that you might need a payment break. That way they can help you as soon as possible :)

The thing is though that even when we all paid for the luxuries/stupid things that we spent the money on, I guarantee the majority of people still paid their tax.

There is NO excuse for not paying your tax, no matter what situation you are in.

It should disappear shortly after you receive your completion certificate.

In my case it was about 3 days after.
