Thanks for the advice, I feel a lot better now. I will speak to my IP. Doe's anyone know if we would be able to rent will an estate agents while I'm in the IVA. We are renting privately at the moment but but we didn't have the IVA when we applied and passed the checks.

They said I would have to pay them the first instalment of £150 + £458 fees for them to take my case. They would then file the bankrupcy petition and would take my IVA company to court to get my money back after my bankrupcy was closed. I'm really annoyed about the way they made bankrupcy sound like a more attractive solutions. I asked if I would loose my car or anything in my home, he said no as my R Reg fiesta was not worth more then £1500. He said I wouldn't loose anything and would only be bankrupct for 7 months.

They said I was miss-sold my IVA because I earn less then £15,000 a year, I don't own my home ( I'm renting) and because my partners earnings were including in my income but the IVA is in my name only.
