I have just received my Completion Certficate..Yippee!! Just a quick question, I have the addresses of the 3 credit reference agencies to which I need to send this. But do I have to pay them a fee to update their records? Do they require the original certificate, or are they OK with certififed copie...

I paid the last IVA amount at the end of May 2008 and am waiting for the final 'clearance' letter. However, I had to call my bank, as they had written to an old address offering me an overdraft. Also, when I called them, they said that I am now eligible for a loan!!! Do they know something I don't!!...

I'm actually kinda proud of completing the IVA over the 5 years and will definitely tell my new partner soon.
Such a nice feeling to finally put the IVA behind me and look forward to my wedding now!!!!

This is a very interesting point for me. I made my last payment to IVA in May this year and am awaiting the 'debt free' confirmation. But you will be amazed that I kept it to myself throughout. Not my ex-partner (split up 2 years ago), my parents, friends, new fiance (getting married June next year)...
