I have my bank account, Virgin media and mobile phone contract already on, so should help me start up. Maybe that credit card would also assist.
My long term aim is for hopefully getting good Mortgages and good rates.

I have just checked my insolvency register and my name no longer comes up on the system[:D][:D].
I know about it staying on credit file for 6 years, but surely the register should state completed or as it seems in my case gets wiped out.

Thanks all.
What is the cheapest/easiest way to look at credit file. This credit expert charges a monthly fee, and apparently it is a nightmare to get out of the free trail period and also you can only do it once.
Any other cheap options out there??

Finally received my certificate of completion of my IVA. It was completed in October of last year but I gave an extra payment in November which was refunded to me. It has taken Mazars until now to finally sort it. Does it normally take this long?? I paid in £23,100 over the 5 years on debts that tot...

Harassment is ony apparent when creditors are aware that...

Just because a debt cannot be enforced, it does not mean that it cannot be collected - and this means that the ongoing barrage of phone calls, letters and doorstep collectors could continue ad infinitum. My advice is if it is due get it paid and if you cannot afford to do this take professional adv...

I think you will find it is not all as we think, reading between the lines if no agreement can be produced by the creditors or that the interest rate increased during the use, they will have to produce the agreement to ensure the agreement is enforceable. If an agreement can be found, it does not ha...

As some may remember I had to cancel my last month (December) payment due to lack of funds, when I was what was thought coming to an end to my IVA. I spoke to Mazars and they said it was fine and would be sending letter to extend it 1 extra month. This action must of got them to look into my IVA, as...
