A little bit more info now. I received a letter on the 24th April 2008 from Chantrey Vellacot saying that they had been appointed to take over my account by the High Court on the 26th Feb 2008 , so in the 2 month period inbetween that letter and it actually happening I had continued to pay Knights a...

After informing Chantrey Vellacot more than once about my change of address ( I moved in Dec 2009!) it seems the IVA I thought I had completed in May still has a debt of £925. All the paperwork since then had been going to my old address so while I was here waiting for my certificate of completion (...

I have just read on the news that we are losing 70 staff from our building and ( I really hope not ! ) it could be me. I am off shift today but go in tommorow..gulp.. Of course I am entitled to redundancy if the worst should happen. My question is as I have only 9 more payments on my Iva would it be...

When my IVA started I had a lodger who was a personal friend. A couple of months into my agreement he , out of the blue , announced he was moving out. My arrangement was set to include the income from that. I did advertise for a new one but the people who applied were totally unsuitable as I am a sh...

One for the experts really but any advice would be appreciated by the wonderfull people on here !! [:)] In my agreement I was under the impression from correspondense with my previous IP that there was no overtime/bonus clause in it. My new IP ( my case was transferred ) seems to be hinting that the...

So pretty much as I thought then , as long as everything financial remains seperate then her property/posessions are safe. I will inform my IP of the move and they will no doubt do another i/e report but financially things are hardly going to change. She may be my partner but she won't expect me to ...

Some may remmember my problems I had when my IVA was passed on to a new IP when the old one was apparently 'naughty' and did not infact retire. Trouble is the old company did not bother to inform me ! Well it is all sorted out now and I am a bit happier. Anyway , onto my question. The lease on the f...

Well , here it is so far! I managed to speak to someone from Knights/UKW limited and was told that Barry Knights had retired from being an IP and my account was indeed transferred to Chantrey Vellacott on the 26th February. The big problem is that they didn't bother to tell me ( or the others I am g...
