According to the Samaritans website you can email them or call into a local branch. I don't know where you are located but if you put your postcode in, there might be one nearby. I know nothing about the medication you are on or the dosage but just sitting in bed, shaking, until the 10th June is not...

clearly whatever medication you are on isn't working. Call the doctor and get an emergency appointment. Get them to look at what you are on, and the dosage and see if they can refer you to someone to talk to before the 10th June.

I've been reading your posts over the last few weeks and was unsure whether to reply. I am not a bankruptcy or IVA expert, neither can I advise on depression but I'm going to try something anyway Let's start here... You go bankrupt, lose your job and have to hand back the house. You will not be home...

I really feel for you Lesley and completely understand what you are going through. The place I work is going through it's second restructure in 18months. Everyone had to apply for new jobs the first time round, and as my job had completely dissappeared I ended up (part time) not full time, in a job ...

you could always refuse to answer the security questions then they can't discuss anything with you anyway, or give them wrong answers! I didn't have any calls while I was setting up my IVA and I couldn't work out why. Then I realised that they probably had an old mobile number for me (I never had a ...

I am so excited! I got my completion certificate today - yey!!! I had a full and final agreed at the end of October so it took 4 months total which given some of the stories I have read on here isn't too bad. I know the IVA won't drop off my record till July 2014 but it is still nice to know that i...

I'm sorry you are having problems. Your income and expenditure form has to be realistic in terms of what you actually spend so that your disposable income is correctly calculated. From what you say there appears to be a large discrepancy between what you are spending, or think you spend on monthly i...

I had a variation meeting on 28th October 2010 to conclude my IVA with a full and final. it was accepted and the funds were sent within a few days. I emailed GT last week just to see how things were going and after first receivng an obviously standard reply about it taking 12-16 weeks I asked where ...

When I calculated the offer for my full and final I didn't worry about fees etc. I just took the monthly payment and multiplied that by the number of months left. Fortunately I was able to come very close to that figure with my offer and the creditors accepted it. However there are other considertat...

Try to think positive. You are taking a major step towards sorting out your debts and while it can seem like a never ending list of paperwork that you have to get together just focus on how much better things will be once this bit is over. Lesley is right - take a day off from it all and if you have...
