Hi Melanie The company I feel is going to struggle to get work because we are going into a CVA, people dont understand what a CVA is and suppliers, customers etc just think we have gone into administration. While we are waiting for the CVA we have CCJ's stacking up against us, soon there will be win...

Do you feel that from the info I have given that a CVL would be better so I could take on the contracts and start again. Sounds bad but I would feel guilty letting down the suppliers who we would be not paying but we are owed lots of money. The factoring company have said that if I went bust they wo...

We owe very little if anything to the HMRC. We have not seen a IP yet we have gone to a company company rescue who advised that there might be a chance to recover in years to come. We owe suppliers around £100k. And the factoring company £200 secured with debenture and guarantee. Also a secured loan...

I would be very grateful. If I could get a second opinion.
I will email you my details.
So is there a possibility that a CVL would be a better option then rather than a CVA.
Many Thanks

Thanks for getting in touch with me. I did read up on all of the CVA info and when the company visited me they advised me that a CVA was the best option. It concerns me now that questions I keep asking from them dont get answered and they say that it should not affect me personally. The factoring co...

Thanks for your advice.
With a secured loan against the property. This wont be in the IVA but would Lloyds call that in or just let it go on as long as they get their monthly payments regular. Would this be taken into consideration with the budget paying on the IVA

The list of possible suppliers could be quite exhaustive. What if by mistake a personal guarantee was missed out.
Is it best to do an IVA before I do a CVA with the company

Thanks. If I have set up an IVA. If any personal guarantees I have with my business are to be used against me at a later date. How would that affect an already up and running IVA. Can it stop it or would I have to let any one who i have given a business personal guarantee before I went into an IVA b...

Thanks for getting back to me. The CVA was put forward because there might be a chance that the company can make a comeback and be profitable. But!! Suppliers wont trade with me. Clients are wary I will go bust if given a contract. Labour force dont want to work and those who do are constantly worri...
