Hi All It's been quite a while since I came on and spoke to you all, but I thought I would visit to share my fantastic news. After six long long years (6 years due to Northern Rock involvement) I am delighted to announce that I have finally completed my IVA. My case was one of those transferred to C...

Hi Abbiesmum, thanks for your reply. I have sent them an email in the hope I get a reply, but it appears from postings on here that I may be waiting a while. I feel that it really wouldn't have hurt PJG to have kept imminent completions and do their final work on them, but we don't know the reasons ...

The problem I have is that PJG have passed by case over to Creditfix, just two days after my final payment to them, and now I have no...

I am with Mel, Lesley and she is very sympathetic to education. I addressed this with her earlier in the year, when I didn't have any firm figures. I do now, so may be worth another email to her. I'm sure I am worrying for nothing, cos that's what I do best!!!

Thanks ladies for your advice. His student loan will fall short of his accommodation costs but not by too much, but he is not entitled to any other help because hub and I earn too much for any other assistance from Student Finance. He will have no choice other than to find a job, but that's not a de...

Hi Kallis He will get a student loan, but that has got to help keep him for the year and pay towards his accommodation and of course, the figures don't stack up. He knows he will have to get a job, but that's easier said than done when there's 20000 other students looking for a job in the same town ...

Hi all, long time no speak!! My son will be going away for three years in September and we now have the information we have been awaiting about the cost of his halls etc. These are going to be around £95.00 per week, plus of course, living costs that we will have to fund until he finds a job himself...

Hi Katie Hubby and I are in a slightly similar situation as hubby gets paid on the last Thursday of the month, thus a few times a year gets a five week month in his pay. I have queried this so many times with my IP office and have been given the same answer every time. This additional week which occ...

Hi Guys

I have just been told that holiday pay doesn't get included in wages when calculating overtime uplifts. If this is the case, have I been overpaying for the three years I have been in my IVA?

Yes I know Foggy, that's what my IP has always said, and she has been so helpful throughout my journey. But when you are paying over so much every month, and struggling through, its galling to think there is two more years of this to put up with. I am also really worried about how I am going to fund...

Thanks Foggy and Kat. So with what you say in mind. Really, unless you stay on the same wage for the whole period of your IVA, the proposal figure that they originally agree on, is not really worth the paper it's written on. I undestand the committment of having to pay back what you owe, but you com...
