Oh my goodness. Get a pre paid credit card if you need one, for god's sake, what about financial rehabilitation ? i shall shut up otherwise i shall get thrown off the forum for what i could say. Alright pal, keep your hair on!! I intend to do everything I can to get my credit rating back up. That i...

Creditcrunched has your income increaed on the P60s you send over when it's review time and if so has that affected your payments? Also, apologies if my last post was a bit direct. It was one of those "sounds harsh when you read it back moments", it wasn't meant to be. I wasn't aware that my credit ...

Creditcrunched, that's not the point. Where as I've learnt my lesson and I won't be living in credit again, it's still important to have a good credit rating because at somepoint point I'm going to want a mortgage. Like I said, I'll be paying the card off in full each month, it's just a vehicle to b...

Thanks for the quick response. You really are an eager bunch on this forum!!!! It's good to see everyone in the same boat working together, I wish I'd have known about it back when I set my IVA up. I'm a bit suspicious of my IP to be honest, it's Beesley & Co based in Manchester and I've read some d...

I'm less than 18 months from finishing my IVA and have been thinking of things I can do now to start to rebuild my credit rating for when it's complete. I've kept a mobile phone contract throughout the IVA and not defaulted on it and now I've got a credit card. I applied expecting to be told I could...

That's great, thanks for the info and advice, I'll get in touch with them and get my proposal sent over to me again to set my mind at rest.
Thanks again.

Thanks louisa.s, it sounds like I might have nothing to worry about. They already said that the 3 payments will get tagged on the end but I don't really mind that. I'm sure that I've not got a comission clause in there as I was in sales when I set it up and it was never mentioned (I lost the IVA pap...

I've just been reading some other posts and I've seen that the company I'm with are mentioned on the forum and not in a favourable light. They're apparently really strict on what you can afford to pay but they've never even spoken to me about my payments. I'm confused and slightly worried, the only ...

Hi All, I was hoping one of you would be kind enough to answer a few questions I have about my existing IVA? I set the IVA 3 years ago when I was just doing a temping job and was earning about £800 pm so my repayments were set at £250pm for around £25k of debt. I was happy as larry with this and it ...
