Yes Viki, it is more of a spiritual cleanse. I have 5 weeks to the half marathon so the timing for this is perfect, I will then have 3 weeks of solid training with lots of porridge! At the moment I take 3 hours to run the half marathon, I'm aiming to get that down to 2hrs 15 mins. If I can shed at le...

What a funny thread. I had been with a now ex for about 2 weeks when we decided to have a date in watching 'This Life'. The room was darkened and I put my head on his lap to relax. I soon felt a bogey and decided t rid myself of it. I should have just gone to the loo, but hey hindsight is a great th...

I appreciate what you are saying about desperate women, but its really not aimed at or for them. Its not really about the weight too much for me, but more about feeling sluggish and needing a boost for the half marathon. So many religions around the world fast, but we as Westerners seem to have this...

Its not just salt water and laxatives lol! Its sea-salt with warm water (not table salt) in the morning to flush the tract, madal bal syrup with lemons and pepper during the day, plus water and chinese tea (which is a mild laxative) in the evening. You would really have to read the book to understan...

There is a science to it, trust me!
As I said, it shouldnt be used as a tool for losing just weight but as a detox of mind and body. It was first used to treat stomach ulcers and clean up clogged arteries!

Its a syrup mixture with organic lemons and pepper or ginger. At night you take a chinese laxative tea and in the morning a litre of salt water!!!! No other food, then on days 15,16,17 you just have smoothies and broth.
Gonna be hard, so I'll keep you updated!

Sorry, should have said!
Its also known as the lemon detox diet. Really it is viewed as a life changing detox and the weight is just a side effect!
Took me a while to decide upon it. Read the book first, liked what I read, did some more research and now sunday is the big day![:0]

Well I have my first half marathon in 6 weeks and it appears the extra pounds are slowing me down, so on sunday I embark on a 14 day detox. I am doing Madal Bal, the first 4 days will be hell, but after that I should feel fantastic[:p] I'll probably shed about 22lbs in those two weeks[:0] 96% of Mad...

Well I know its late, but I didnt find out until 8pm, but could not post as I had company. Got home this evening to find a letter from the OR. Three and a half months (!) after going BR, we are going to be discharged! So thats it, over with, finished. Seems bizarre. We kept our home, car, sky+, bank...

I have no idea why this is so cloak and dagger, but after hearing several rumours, I finally got a cashier to whisper "big sale tomorrow, 50% off of 90% of stock, please dont say anything"
Why is that? Because they are in administartion?
Anyway, my friend is lending me £50 so I can have some fun![:)]

I love Fairytale of NY, and also Band Aid. Was in Iceland, with a whopping budget of £19 to spend, thinking how ****e life can be sometimes, when "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" came on. Just wanted to jump into a freezer and shut it! Those sad songs are just damn cruel. 'It'll be lonely th...

I agree that they should be investigated as to why they wont work, but not when the child is aged 12, it should be 4! I am a lone-parent to a 3 year old and an 11 month old, but I still go to work (and I only earn £900pm). I may not have as much disposable dosh as my friend who 'wont' work, but in t...
