Not from the information you have given, Cath. You need to know what the terms of the loyalty bonus are as stated in your loan agreement, but you may find that it is discretional.

I'm sure you won't have a problem with the Co-op. There are no credit checks (as far as I know) on basic accounts, but all new accounts are checked for things such as money laundering, terrorist suspects etc and so are not issued immediately. Yes, Jan - just the basic flexaccount, but the the new cash card+ will replace ALL cash cards, if I read it correctly. It does say that it will also replace cheque books. Maybe we are going to benefit from the massive profits the bank will get by stopping issuing cheque books?
