I applied for Vanquis and was also told it would be referred ...got a call about 48 hours later and was approved....I asked for an associate card for hubby and was told he needed to apply himself...he did and was refused outright...weird !! I was given 500.00 limit and I use it for fuel and pay off ...

All the decisions we all make are personal choices and we all have to live with the "feelings" ....and there are no clear cut "rules" about PPI......each individual case is different in the same way we do the things we do with regard to our debts and IVAs etc.... We made the claim after taking a lot...

Its always and interesting debate re PPI .....we were so ignorant....and I mean really ignorant that we signed whatever anyone put in front of us .!!! and ended up with PPI on everything Even when we entered the IVA we hadnt a clue....this forum educated us big time...we didnt even realise we cold h...

Merry Belated Christmas to all.....we have been post IVA for a year now and I am confident we will never be in a mess again ...having worked hard at the IVA for 39 months and then paying it off early .... we do have a Vanquis card...to help rebuild our rating etc and of course it does come in useful...
