Hi Kallis3

I wish it were that simple and the other half was paid monthly to. I get paid monthly but the other half gets paid weekly so that apparently should be worked out differently to take into consideration the 5 weekly months giving an average, which is not happening.

I am pullin my hair out now and feel very tearful after speaking with a member of staff at Synergi. I asked them directly how they work out my other halfs weekly wages and was told "We work the net out x 52 / by 12". They asked if I had the calculations in front of me and told me they are the correc...

Thank you everyone for your responses, they are kind and reassuring. It is so nice being able to share our experiences / feelings on this forum as there is just no one I can talk too who really understands what we are going through. Your advise is a great stress release and I also wish everybody the...

Hi Melanie Two hours back I spoke with the women who dealt with the variation meeting and I am just starting to calm down and feel so stressed out. I told her we were going to accept the reduced payments with no additions and that we won't be paying the £589 asked for regarding extra income as we fe...

I tried speaking with our IP a couple of weeks back and explained how we felt, all he mentioned was that if his colleagues have worked out that amount then that is what you have to pay. We had to push for a break down to be sent tou us again, this was the 3rd time in asking. Our IP told us that he h...

Hi Melanie We e-mailed Synergi after your last advice about working out weekly wages by 13 weeks, a few weeks back, but have had no response as usual. I couln't quite work out why Synergi were saying that the varitation meeting had been accepted, when the meeting had been adjourned either. They just...

The other half is paid weekly so with this in mind and the fact they aren't prepared to listen to us when we say we haven't earned any extra money, we are considering BR. But it's not something we want to think about lightly. so any advise given is greatly received.

Hello Our IVA was accepted 30.03.2007 and we are in the early stages of our IVA. We can't really work out why the other halfs wages aren't being worked out on a 13 weekly basis to take into account variations of four or five week months. No matter how many times we question Synergi about this they j...

Hi Debbie, you are so right when you say we are blessed in not owning our own home in our current situation, and I really do feel for those who face loosing their homes. Some friends of ours are facing it and know our situation. On the other hand I have been judged and am still judged for not owning...

Hi Melanie Thank you ever so much for your advice on this. I shall e-mail them tonight and add in your advice. We had this problem with them back in Sept 07 and we also questioned them why were they not carrying over the minus amount each month and their excuse was that a junior admin clerk carried ...

We have finally received a break down of earnings from our IP, as we thought, they are showing that we have earned the extra when there are five week months, but surely these should of been taken into consideration when they calculated our earnings in the first place so that they averaged out? So be...

Sadly we don't own our own home, and when we informed Synergi last year that our rent was going up they didn't make the changes, so on this years review it's been added on. I've not had an appology from them about their mistakes. They haven't even offered us the money back, yet they say we earned an...

Thank you for your kind words of advice, I'll have look in the library and I'll have a chat with the school when they start up again to see if there is anything they can help with. We tried a DMP before taking on the IVA, sadly this didn't work for us as the main creditor decided not to accept the p...
