You'll only have to wait 6 years from the date of default.

I checked my credit expert file and was showing 722 last time. It looks as though your file is good and once your default drop off, you should be in very good shape!

Just out of interest or 'fun' I notice quite a few of us in this forum have mentioned getting a credit report/score, so.. I was just wondering what is your score?? You can total up your accounts that have defaulted, current, up to date etc, your IVA, Bankruptcy records etc and when they drop off etc...

if they cant add you as a named driver just type in google ' short term car insurance' i know norwich union or aviva did it for me once.
