As long as you do not have or have access to an overdraft, yes you can have a current account in an IVA. The golden rule is no future credit can be taken but the combination of a debit card and no overdraft means this is OK. A word of warning though. If you have credit with your bank they may cancel...

You can't argue with the advice of the posts. I am an IP and I would always suggest you speak to several companies. Just make sure they are qualified to give the right advice as there are a lot of myths out there! I would recommend getting the advice sooner rather than later as the creditors are not...
