Hi Everyone Just to say thanks for the advice and support. I wrote a post only last night as had not had a reply from the credit company about removing the default and was getting frustrated. Anyway Surprise, Surprise the defaulted account was removed today from the credit files, so the system worke...

Hi Melanie
We have written to all the credit reference agencies, we have had a reply from Experian saying they have removed the judgement but have only maked the default as satisfied. So to me any credit checks will be supect because the default still shows to lenders.

Hi. I have now had the county court judgement set aside and it seems to have been removed for my credit file. I have cheched with the registry trust and done a search with then and they report no recordings. However the default still shown on credit reports. Is it possible to get the default removed...

Yep it will because it affects us both,I got turned down recently for a post office bank card, which is ironic as they caused this judgement in the first place.

Thanks Jan,It feels like I have been writing to everyone over the last few months about this. Anyway got all my letters ready for when the court direction arives in the post, then it's all systems go again for the final push.

Hi all Just to let you all know that I got my wife's county court judgement set aside today at Wigan County Court, as was tranfered from Northampton. The Judge told the court usha to inform us he had set the Judgement aside before we we due to go in, so just waiting for the court paper to confirm it...
