I have finally completed my 6 year IVA and am waiting on my Certificate of Completion. My question is will it be shown as competed on they day they complete the final review OR the date my final payment went? This will impact on when I can start mortgage applications.

I have checked my chairmans report and it says that I have to remortgate in my final year and release any accrued equity up to 85% of the value of the property. Why would they put it in if I am unlikely to be able to do it? is it a precurser to extending for another year?

Sorry for asking further basis questions....but here I go anyway. When it states that you have to remortgage for up to 85% of the value of the property.....does this mean that if your house is worth £120K, the most you can remortgate upto is around £100K?

This may be a stupid question, but I have seen lots of posts stating 'iva protocol'. What does this actually mean? The terms of my IVA seem to differ greatly from some of the posts on here. e.g I don't have the 10% rule on additional income, I split it 50/50. Is this common?

Sorry Melanie, I don't quite understand. I have checked the terms of my IVA and it states that the supervisor must ensure that I am paying what I should, but that they may increase the payments should my salary increase. I do understand and appreciate this, but just wondered what dictates the increa...

Hi, my IVA was approved 3 years ago and I have been lucky recently to receive a substantial promotion and payrise. I have always paid 50% of any additional income into my IVA. My question is whether this will continue or is the IVA likely to be renegotiated? does anyone have any experience of this?
