Thanks for your replies. Confirms what I thought. Just found out she is with Debt Matters. I advised her to cancel but I sensed she was reluctant, prob wants a way out , and we've all been there. I shall still sit in with her and advise her to speak to other providers an the site

There was not a local branch for me which was a worry. However it has been great. They have a cash facility and do full on line banking. David I don't think I have any option but to risk it.It seems that the only other way would be to continue the DMP and use some of my lump sum anywaY for a F&F next yr. Plodding along with a DMP would contiue well into retiremenet and poss beyond!! I then have really no life with the burden of debt ...

It does appear to refer to pension lumop sum. All the way throuigh it says MAY so I wonder where the discretionary element is or are they just looking at really big money ?

John has replied to a question/post on BR site and suggested that I seek expert advice. Problem was I wanted to get on with this tomorrow. I was so relieved once I had made the decision Now I am full of worries and doubts again.
